Data Scientist with Python and Snowflake

Data Scientist Role

As a Data Scientist, you will be pivotal in analyzing complex data sets to develop data-driven insights and models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and inform business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine predictive models and algorithms to improve business outcomes, using Python and Dataiku.
• Design and manage data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of data.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Continuously improve data processing methods and algorithm performance.
• Prepare visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data science, with a strong foundation in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in using data science platforms such as Dataiku is a strong plus.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Location: near Piata Universitatii
