We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Data Engineer with Python

Responsibilities

• Manage the time series database efficiently
• Ensure API interfaces deliver the correct input and output pairs
• Establish KPI metrics to monitor data quality from field acquisition
• Test and optimize data access load for performance enhancement
• Provide monthly KPI status reports
• Troubleshoot data access and quality issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering
• Experience with time series data handling, data analytics, database management, and data access performance
• Proficiency in Python, AWS services, data ETL, MySQL, and SQL
• Knowledge of InfluxDB, flux query language, API, data interfaces, and data acquisition pipelines
• Strong team player with a focus on delivery and quality
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 2 visits to the office per month
