Backend Python Developer

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core product software development team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product leads, designers and engineers to develop reliable and well tested backend and frontend software.
• Deploy regular code releases to production and test environments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Create and maintain frontend and backend applications and systems.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Python and the Django framework.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and the Javascript language.
• Familiarity with React ecosystem.

Job Details

We offer a variety of contracts but, please, notice that our intention is to establish a long term relationship. Working remotely is an option we envisage, although we will give priority to candidate closer to our office. The ideal candidate should work from a timezone between GMT-1 and GMT+3.

Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package. Relocation might come, if asked by the applicant, after at least 1 year of fruitful cooperation.

Notice that the selection process will include an exercise to test your skills using the Django framework.
