Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Back-End Developer, specializing in Python, to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing and refining our product, focusing on real-world business communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the back-end of our AI assistant platform, ensuring robustness, efficiency, and scalability.
- Work with Langchain to leverage comprehensive tools and document retrieval solutions using vector databases.
- Integrate document retrieval capabilities to enhance the knowledge base of our assistant.
- Build intelligent tools to connect Pollie with the outside world.
- Collaborate closely with our front-end team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Write comprehensive documentation and conduct thorough testing using frameworks like Pytest.
- Regularly communicate progress and participate in daily stand-ups and bi-weekly video calls.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in back-end development, specifically with Python.
- Familiarity with Langchain, vector databases (such as Chroma or Pinecone), and OpenAI models (GPT-4).
- Experience in API development and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
