Job Description
Waferwire is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team. Our primary focus is on building an internal tool dedicated to assisting data scientists in efficiently shipping their models. Key responsibilities include developing features to enhance the tool, addressing bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and resolving security concerns. Proficiency in Python and C# is essential, as the tool is based on Azure DevOps and Azure resources. This role provides an opportunity to work within the AI domain, accelerating the model shipping process for data scientists while maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, responsibilities include crafting internal tools and implementing new features for various partner teams.
Role: Application Developer
Location: Remote
The role will consist of:
- The day to day of the role is developing internal tools to help data scientists ship their models efficiently, using Python, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
- The role also involves bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing component governance and security issues.
- The role is remote and does not require on-site presence.
- The role will be part of a team that is in the center of the AI area and helps data scientists reach out to the end users faster and with better quality.
Qualifications
- Develop and maintain internal business systems/applications under deadline pressure or take the primary role in smaller, low-risk projects.
- 1-3 years of work-related experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technology and Azure DevOps required.
- Must have the ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
