Lead AI Scientist

Job Description

A news and media organization in Washington, DC is looking for a Gen-AI Scientist / Data Scientist. Ideal candidates for this position will have 3-6+ years of professional experience in NLP systems and predictive modeling. A technical understanding of Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and AWS is needed. This team will also help implement LLMs to research and learn off the decades worth of news articles for either internal or future external uses, so someone who has current work with any LLM and tangible research in this field is a huge plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8+ years of experience
• A degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (MS or PhD preferred)
• LLM (any/multiple) experience
• Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and AWS
