Angular/Python Developer - On-site Position
This is an in-office hybrid position preferably located in Pittsburgh, Columbus, or Cleveland (Strongsville, OH). CGI is looking for a mid level experienced Angular/Python Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our client's enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in Angular for the front-end and Python for the back-end.
Position Description
- Design, development, coding, testing, debugging of software and production deployment activities
- Ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Propose & design software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation required
- Work and contribute as part of an agile team
- Engage with internal, customer and other 3rd party stakeholders on day-to-day basis as part of project development and implementation activities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3-6 years overall experience in software development and deployments
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Good knowledge of Python
- Good knowledge of UI development (Angular)
- Hands on development experience in relational databases, specifically MySQL
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
