Description

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer to collaborate with System and Software Engineers. The focus is on designing and developing custom Kubernetes operators for managing the deployment and sustainment of BEARHYDE CCE, a Corporate Data Compliance Service.

The BEARHYDE service will offer a containerized solution that customers can provision and access on demand within a Kubernetes cluster.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Must have a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus three (3) years of similar experience, OR
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of similar experience, OR
    • Seven (7) years of similar experience.

Required Skills

  • Experience using the Linux CLI
  • Proficiency in writing Bash/Python scripts for automation
  • Development of Java applications in a Linux environment
  • Familiarity with SQL technologies like PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
  • Proficiency in Helm Charts and Kubernetes operators for application lifecycle management
  • Experience with the Git Version Control System

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency with the Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
  • Experience in customer outreach and troubleshooting support
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools like GitLab

Recruitment Policy

Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required, Vested from Day 1)
