Software Developer Python / DevOps

Description

For our Software Development Team in Lingen (Ems) or Osnabrück, we are looking for a:

• Software Developer Python / DevOps (all genders welcome)

As a Python developer with a strong focus on DevOps, you will support us in developing and supporting our innovative software solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automating software development processes with CI/CD tools and managing infrastructure as code to ensure an agile development and deployment process
• Applying DevOps practices to empower deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models and utilizing the Kubeflow API to efficiently orchestrate machine learning pipelines
• Writing clean, efficient and maintainable code in Python
• Implementation of microservices-based software process applications for our inspection systems
• You are part of an autonomous development team in an agile environment
• Optimizing and monitoring the performance and scalability of our systems

Requirements

To become part of the ROSEN family, you convince through analytical thinking and a structured and results-oriented working method. Moreover, you should bring with you:

• Completed studies in the field of information technology or a comparable qualification (e.g. completed training in the IT environment)
• Profound experience with DevOps practices and advanced knowledge of the Python programming language
• Strong experience in container infrastructures (Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow) and CI/CD environments
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows systems as well as a basic understanding of AI and ML technologies
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS)
• Knowledge of MongoDB and Amazon S3 desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high degree of initiative, commitment, and ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, knowledge of the German language is an advantage
