About The Team
The team's mission is to help Roku scale by enabling Roku OS to run on more devices and extend reach. They collaborate with other teams within Roku and silicon partners to facilitate the effective development, testing, and maintenance of device platforms at scale.
About The Role
The role seeks a versatile Software Engineer experienced in Cloud Systems, Scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and Web Applications. The focus will be on developing and maintaining Roku's Partner Tooling to work with partners in bringing up Roku OS on new hardware.
What You Will Be Doing
- Developing, documenting, deploying, and maintaining tools for partners
- Implementing tools, cloud technologies, and best practices to enhance stability and performance
- Participating in an Agile development process
- Delivering scalable and reliable platform services
We’re Excited If You Have
- 3+ years of experience in Python, Flask, and Advanced Python Libraries
- Experience in backend or full stack development
- Experience in AWS, CI/CD, Docker, Git, Shell Scripting
- Skills in Cloud Computing, REST APIs, and microservice architecture
- Track record of success in application development and deployment
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
