Senior Python Developer

Job Description

Lead Python Developer | 3 Month Contract | Outside IR35

Our client (Financial Services) is looking to onboard a Senior Software Engineer with extensive Python experience to join them on an initial 3-month contract term, with potential extensions.

This role is operating outside IR35, and would preferable allow for a hybrid working model (2 days on-site each week in London), but can be remote.

Key Requirements

• Extensive Python development experience
• Strong experience with OOP design patterns
• Good experience deploying to Azure cloud, ideally using Terraform
• Experience and involvement with CI/CD pipelines, IaC
• Experience with serverless functions (Azure functions / AWS lambdas etc.)
• Strong Agile experience, able to participate in and lead Agile ceremonies
• Able to mentor more junior team members, conduct code reviews and set high standard for code quality, performance and security
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - able to work with Product teams, Architects, BA's, QA's etc.
