Job Description

RJC are working with a key player in the energy markets, who are at the forefront of the energy transition, leading the charge in de-carbonised and renewable product trading. Now seeking a "Python Wizard" as they embark on a complete ETRM system re-write. Experience with energy trading platforms, market data APIs, and financial instruments (e.g., futures, options, swaps) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Python Development within their market dynamics team
• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable Python-based web applications, APIs, and backend systems for energy trading platforms
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth and reliable operation in energy trading environments

Requirements

• You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python development in an Azure cloud environment
• You have Proficiency in Python programming language and its ecosystem, including Django, Flask, or other relevant frameworks
• You use a variety of different Python libraries and frameworks and develop front-end and/or back-end solutions (e.g. FastAPI / streamlit)
• You build Python packages, microservices and document solutions accordingly
