Tasks

• Develop and maintain Python codebase for the tour planning tool.
• Implement algorithms for routing optimization, considering factors such as distance, time, and truck capacity.
• Integrate external APIs or libraries for geospatial data and visualization.
• Collaborate with other team members to gather requirements and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Test and debug code to ensure high quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (X years) as a Python developer, with a strong understanding of Python programming language and its ecosystem.
• Experience with algorithm development and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with geospatial data processing and visualization libraries (e.g., GeoPandas, matplotlib).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with optimization algorithms such as nearest neighbor, genetic algorithms, or ant colony optimization.
• Familiarity with the cloud platform and services in MS Azure.
