Job Summary
We're seeking talented and ambitious Cybersecurity Research Interns to join our team at Securin! As a Cybersecurity Research Intern, you'll play a crucial role in uncovering hidden threats on the dark web and safeguarding the cyber universe. If you are an expert in Python development and have a passion for cybersecurity, and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to scrape and analyze dark web data, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with our research team to design and implement data extraction and processing pipelines
- Conduct in-depth analysis of scraped data to identify patterns, trends, and potential threats
- Work closely with our research and vulnerability intelligence teams to develop and implement threat detection and mitigation strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dark web technologies and threats, and contribute to the development of our vulnerability intelligence platform
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Enrolled in a Master’s program focused on Computer Science, preferably in cyber security
Excellent Python programming and coding experience
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make a real impact
Nice to Have
- Interest in Penetration testing experience is a plus
- Experience with web scraping, data analysis, and machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with dark web technologies and threats
