Job Title: Cloud Application Development Automation Test Engineer (AWS Cloud, Python, Golang)
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybird)
- Two test automation engineers to setup, configure, manual testing, basic triaging, reproducing issues on various topologies in cloud.
- Initially it will be manual testing, triaging, and debugging issues.
- Once the engineers have sufficient confidence in the feature working well, the same engineers will automate the test cases for future use.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise on test-driven development and different levels of automated tests.
- 5+ years of experience in test automation in Python, Java, or Golang.
- Experience in developing and evolving test frameworks, tools, infrastructure, and CI systems.
- Experience in working on Cloud distributed systems and solutions like AWS Cloud, GCP, or Azure.
- Effective communication and strong collaboration skills.
- Knowledge on microservices and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. Prior testing experience for microservices based products is a plus.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise is a MUST.
Skill Sets:
Proficiency in Testing and Test Automation. Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Experience with Splunk Enterprise.
Scope of Work
The scope of work includes validating cross-cloud scenarios to ensure that Federated Search functionality is robust and reliable across diverse cloud environments.
