  • Job Title: Technical Program Analyst
  • Duration: ASAP start thru end of this year with possible extension
  • Location: Hybrid/San Jose, CA | Hybrid work: Tues-Thurs in the office. Monday & Friday remote (optional)
  • Pay rate: $50 - $65/hr. W2 incl. benefits

Project Overview

You will be responsible for resource provisioning of the client's Compute, Storage, & Network infrastructure resources to support all the Engineering (Eng) & Site Reliability (SRE) service related requests. The team has a broad expertise in the client infrastructure and data center technologies. We build and use tools to monitor and manage hardware capacity.

Overall Responsibilities

Keep the system running and efficient. Maintain pool health, manage utilization, & provide operations support to the supporting automation/systems that address ~12,000 allocations per week. Drive activities related to resource fulfillment SLOs & growth flexibility.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities

  • Responding to Pool Minding Alerts to proactively keep production service pools healthy & reduce reliability risk
  • Managing Resource Requests from SRE/Eng to YTRM (e.g. ceiling changes & migration support) for all infrastructure services
  • Assisting YTRM Projects (e.g. building data pipelines for automated reporting & metrics management)

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years industry experience
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant work experience and some coding experience in SQL and Python
  • Data Visualization experience (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Python Libraries (Plotly Express, Seaborn, Matplotlib))
  • Specific Tools or Applications experience (ex. Google Apps, Salesforce CRM, etc)
  • Certification or license (ex. CPA, PMP, Cisco)
  • Google Apps: Familiarity with google suite of applications: gmail, docs, sheets, and slides

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • Data Science experience is highly desirable with Data Mining, Machine Learning (classifiers, clustering, boosting), Data Modeling
  • Familiarity with IT environments
  • Familiarity with customer request ticketing systems or software
