Job Title: System Engineer/Cloud infrastructure/Python/Kubernetes

Location: Richardson, TX

Roles & Responsibilities

• Managing a project for a major client in the banking domain
• Developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications
• Providing DevOps support to Cloud deployed Application Teams
• Supporting Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence workloads
• Software Development, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills
• System Administration and Security

Technical Skills

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience with public Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Infrastructure-as-code concepts and implementation (Cloud Formation/Terraform)
• Configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Container Cluster management
• Proficiency in Linux, Web/Application servers, Storage, Cloud Storage, Monitoring systems, and Virtualization
• Networking knowledge - Firewalls, VPNs, proxies & Load balancers
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, shell)
• Continuous Integration practices and tools (Jenkins, Git)

Additional Responsibilities

• Installing and testing new applications, hardware, and software releases
• Monitoring system activities and optimizing performance
• Providing senior-level expertise on systems architecture
• Evaluating existing solutions and infrastructure
• Establishing and implementing standards and guidelines
• Maintaining technical knowledge and attending workshops
