Software R&D Manager - Multithreading, C++, Python/ROS2

Job Description

An amazing start-up, developing a robot for environmental usage with high-end technology, is looking for a software development manager. You will manage lead 2 development teams that develop and implement autonomous processes, extensive use of multi-processing, and multi-threading, integration. Powered by SaaS, Data, analytics, and UI. You will Co-work with multi-disciplinary departments (Hardware, mechanics, robotics). Manage application development life cycle ADLC from design to delivery.

Requirements

• Bsc in CS, Msc is a plus or equivalent.
• C++ mother tongue, Multithreading, and multi-processing challenges.
• Developing around Ros OS is a must using Python and C++.
• 5+ years in managing an R&D group at a start-up/director level in a large company.
• Should come from HW-SW companies to better understand Hardware constraints.
• Previous experience with robot development, autonomous devices - vehicles, drones, autonomous smart home devices and autonomous software operating wirelessly.
