What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the engineering teams in multiple areas
• Be accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions
• Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
• Design, create, and support reusable application components/patterns
• Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Qualifications:

• Advanced programming experience with Golang and/or Java
• Understanding of micro-services-oriented architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of DevOps Concepts and Cloud Architecture
• Problem-solving ability

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience within Java and/or Golang
• 5+ years of experience with architecture and design
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
• 1+ years of people management experience
