Must Have

• Python/Java Coding (Python heavy with some Java ideal).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and core services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, etc.
• Ability to develop UI and API automated tests and frameworks.
• Expertise with object-oriented programming (Java, JavaScript, or Python preferred - Pytest).
• Prior experience with application or automation framework development.
• Expertise implementing tests with modern automated testing tools, frameworks, and patterns.

Position Overview

• Seeking an experienced Sr+ Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team.
• Individual contributor role focused on ensuring the quality of our cloud-based applications through comprehensive testing strategies and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end test strategies encompassing different testing types for complex cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Python, Java, and modern testing tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application architectures and create efficient test plans.
• Execute and analyze automated load and performance tests for application scalability and reliability.
• Implement test automation using advanced techniques.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other SDETs.
• Effectively communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or similar QA role with hands-on automation experience.
• Proven expertise in Python, Java, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS services.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks.
• Ability to independently design and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of application security testing.
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.
