Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

Software integration testing and test automation. Analyze and triage test failures. Designing and automating new tests. Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution. Create, Improve and maintain automated tests for functional and model validation. Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

Requirements for the Role

• Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional work experience as Software Development Engineer or related fields
• Expert programming skills in an OOP language, Python, Swift, Java preferably
• Test automation experience (XCTest a plus)
• Working understanding of test types and their purpose (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Ideal Requirements:
• Able to write shell scripts and familiar with XCode and able to build or modify existing OS Application Code
• Experience with Git and any source code solutions
• Any familiarity with ML systems, how to test ML models is a plus
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Familiar with OS platforms, debugging or profiling tools
• Proven ability to analysis and find root causes in multi-tiered, client-server environments
• Familiar with different logging and analytics concepts
• Strong Unix admin skills
• Excellent trouble-shooting, debugging, QA skills
• Previous experience working with Virtual/Personal Assistants is a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Education

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
