Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for an Sr. AWS Python Developer to join our financial services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
This position is based in either Columbia, SC, Belton, TX, or Lafayette, LA, or anywhere in the US where CGI has an office in the Central/Eastern Time Zones.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to the original vision.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies.
- Understand and utilize DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features.
- Available to respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Required 10+ years of experience working in Python and API.
- Extensive experience developing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud.
- Strong development experience developing scalable code in Python and or Java.
- Experience building API on AWS cloud.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
