ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V. (ABF) is a subsidiary of ABN AMRO bank. At ABN AMRO Asset based finance, we provide financing solutions for our customers based on assets.
Within the Software Engineering department we take care of all software development, configuration, implementation and maintenance for all applications that support our business processes. Within Software Engineering, we currently have 14 scrum teams working on improving and maintaining various applications. s part of a regulatory project, The ABF Data Platform team is building a data warehouse solution, from several data sources allowing for integration of data and delivery of data to consumers.

For the Data Platform team, ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance is looking for an experienced SQL and Python developer to strengthen the team. The data platform team is working on a migration to Azure whilst a number of regulatory projects also demand change capacity of the team. Your role in the team will be to support the regulatory projects for example by onboarding additional data, creating new datasets, and/or delivering data to consumers. Given the importance of the regulatory projects we are looking for senior developers.
You will work as a senior designer and developer as part of the scrum team and will be taking ownership for the following user stories.
Together with Data Architect, translate arhitecture design into product backlog items
Deliver a data nest solution, including database, based on Azure SQL Services
Design & Develop data loading mechanisms from several data sources
Design & Develop Data Integration patterns
Design & Develop data distribution mechanisms
Further develop from Dev to DevOPS on Azure Cloud
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
You comply to the following skills and competences
Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, Datawarehouse, Database principles, ETL processes and security
Strong experience in SQL
Experience in Python & GIT.
Software release management skills and knowledge.
Strong analytical skills & conceptual thinking;
Enjoys programming, taking pride in work, resulting in high quality work.
Easily picks up new technologies and IT products.
Proactive attitude with ability to self-manage.
Communicative skilled and confident and comfortable dealing with users and stakeholders directly.
Good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written
