Job Title: Spark Developer with Scala/Python
Duration: Full Time
Location: Austin, TX /Sunnyvale CA (ONSITE)
VISA::USC-EAD//L2
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop distributed frameworks while handling a large amount of big data using Spark and Hadoop Ecosystems.
- At least 2 years of experience with Spark required.
- At least 2 years of experience with Scala required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of AWS development experience is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Python.
- Ability to work within deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute on tasks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate across teams, internal and external at all levels.
- Experience in Drive automations
- DevOps Knowledge is an added advantage.
Proficient knowledge of SQL with any RDBMS.
