Description
Captivation Software seeks a senior level software integration engineer to develop Tools and Services in a PaaS Linux environment. The engineer will support an 'on-prem' cloud offering using Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, and other cutting-edge software. Expertise in a containerized landlord/tenant environment is a crucial requirement. The role involves enhancing efficiency within a DevOps culture.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Eight (8) years of experience in integrating, installing, configuring, and supporting software.
- Experience in Computer Science related work may substitute for a degree.
- Industry-recognized professional certification or Master's Degree may substitute for experience.
- Required Skills:
- Experience with Linux CLI and scripting in Bash/Python.
- Knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools like SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting large Linux Clusters and using system monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and administrating/monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and version control with Git.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm.
- Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipeline and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on Years of Experience).
