Having recently secured our Series A Funding round, we are searching for another talented Software Engineering Manager to work alongside our team of EX Amazon, DirecTV and OpenX Engineers.
As an Engineering Manager you'll be managing a mid sized team of remote engineers on our CTV / OTT focused ad-buying platform. You'll have a strong understanding of core engineering principles and production experience with software engineering techniques like automated testing, source control, deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and agile planning. You've built web based products before and have hands-on experience managing and developing engineering talent. We're looking for someone driven to build amazing products with the end-user in mind.

What You Will Be Doing
- Design, implement, and refine development and testing processes.
- Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
- Lead your team in the development of new features, client requests, and bug resolutions in a reporting visualization layer and data orchestration system.
- Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.
- Gauge progress of various projects.
- Hire and train new employees.
What You Need for this Position
- A great attitude.
- A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent on the job experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Production experience with either Airflow, Beam or Argo and comfortable with evaluating and migrating to similar tools if needed.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Experience with Python.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
- Experience writing integration and unit tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn/adapt to new technologies.
- Top-notch remote communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
- A lead from the front style leader.
- Ability to work under pressure and iterate quickly against rapidly updating plans.
Bonus:
- AdTech Experience.
- Specific Domain Experience in CTV.
- Experience with Looker.
- An understanding of Linux.
- Experience working with Django, Flask or similar python based web frameworks.
- Experience working within or managing a microservice architecture.
- Experience working with or managing a customer-facing reporting / analytics system.
- Experience working with D3 or similar chart libraries.
