We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work on Digital projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in VBA, Python, and Microsoft tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, and Excel.

Role and responsibilities

  • Digitize and automate tasks, acting as a liaison between business and IT for Citizen Development.
  • Collaborate with Geneva's Citizen Development team, focusing on Python and VBA.
  • Lead and engage Citizen Developers community, facilitating upgrades and cloud implementations.
  • Provide level 2/3 support for MS Office suite, Python, and Power BI, participating in testing, training, maintenance, and support.
  • Analyze current and future business needs and develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Industrialize Citizen Developers' Python/VBA developments, ensuring system sustainability.
  • Develop VBA/Python scripts, PowerBI reports, and deploy Python apps using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Prefect2, EKS, ArgoCD).

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • High degree of autonomy.
  • Proficient in Python and VBA development.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft tools: Excel, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Action, YAML pipeline, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Prefect is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Educator and gifted in communication.
  • Dynamic, methodical, rigorous, curious, and team-oriented.

The salary range for this role is US$70,000 - US$130,000
