Job Description

• Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension/ conversion)
• Location: Westlake, TX (1 Week in a month to office)

Role Description

As a Software Engineer in Test (Database Tester with Python) you must have at least 6-9 years of Software Quality Engineering experience.

Must Have Skills

• Strong database testing experience
• Healthcare data knowledge is a must
• Python for programming
• Snowflake
• Adobe Analytics
• SQL

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively working with developers and business analysts
• Identify, communicate, and proactively contribute to project risks
• Write comprehensive test cases and maintain a library of test cases
• Partner with development teams and promote understanding of test data
• Support Continuous Integrated (CI) testing using industry standard tools

Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance
• 6-9 years of Software Quality Engineering or proven experience desired
• Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is required

Skills

• Tools: SQL Developer, Snowflake, Postman, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins, Git repositories, RestAssured and Docker
• Languages: Java, Python (strong experience, Python 3 preferred)
• Database Dialects: Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB (preferred)
• BI Reporting Tools: OBIEE, Microsoft Power BI
• Cloud Platforms: AWS preferred or Azure

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 6+ years of experience.

This position will not cover relocation expenses.
