Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team as a Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of API Endpoints: Lead the development of robust API endpoints that allow client applications to create, update, and retrieve review summarizations efficiently.
• Utilization of Scikit-learn Library: Utilize the Scikit-learn text summarization library to develop a system that efficiently summarizes reviews, enabling users to quickly understand service providers' strengths and weaknesses.
• Integration with AWS Services: Implement a system to store summarized reviews in a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS RDS, with raw review texts archived and stored in AWS S3 buckets for future reference and analysis.
• Client Application Accessibility: Ensure that the summarized reviews are accessible to client applications via a GET API, enabling users to engage more deeply with the content and make informed decisions.
• Optimization for User Engagement: Continuously optimize the summarization process to enhance user engagement, contributing to a ~10% increase in user engagement and significantly boosting traffic to the platform.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with building and maintaining API endpoints.
• Familiarity with Scikit-learn or similar text summarization libraries.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS and S3.
