Role Description
- Working as part of a technical team, you will deliver high quality software that is thoroughly tested and optimized, while building solutions and integrations from requirements
- Providing maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base
- Contributing to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and architecture
Data Management
- Building solutions to manage and convert raw data into information that can be interpreted by data scientists and business analysts
- Designing and developing reusable data pipelines for ingestion and consumption through Macquarie Asset Management’s data platform
New Technologies
- Being exposed to new serverless-based solutions, microservice architecture, delta lake
- Expanding brand new applications in the Cloud
- Maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of full stack development experience with design, development, testing, deployment, and version control
- Proven development skills to work with Python, Structured Query Language, ReactJS, REST Api
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda and EBS) for designing scalable, cloud-native, distributed software utilising modern development architectures
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with good communication skills
