JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking under JPMorgan Wealth Management Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, Develop and support systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Design, Develop and support systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Be responsible for ingesting data into our data lake and providing frameworks and services for operating on that data including the use of Spark Operate on or build solution required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, AWS and Spark technologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Hand on experience implementing Data pipelines in connection with Hadoop or Spark with Java or Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS (i.e., Lambda, EMR, EKS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Aurora, etc.)
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in JAVA,PYSARK and AWS Implementations
- Exposure to Salesforce AWS/Cloud Certifications
