Software (Data) Engineer - Python / Scala / ETL / AWS - 100% remote.
I'm currently on the lookout for an experienced Data Engineer/Software (Data) Engineer for an expanding Big Data company in the Netherlands.

Whilst this company are relatively small (Around 22+ people), they are already AWS's trusted partner in the Netherlands when it comes to Big Data. They are a remote first company that have an inclusive and modern way of working, bringing team members together once a year to build connections through social events.
Role Description
- You will be building big data products
- You may be working with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, event processing etc.
- Secondary focus on personal growth based on passions and career plans
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- 100% remote within 4 hours of CET timezone

Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years industry experience in development/data engineering
- Experience with Python or Scala
- Infrastructure as code skills
- Event-driven architecture knowledge
- Experience with data modelling on a technical level
- Two plus years development using Spark or Hadoop
- One plus years experience with Kafka
- At least two years hands on experience with AWS Big Data, Analytics, Serverless
