Job Opening
We have an impressive opening for a Site Reliability Engineer who is looking to join an award winning software house in Cambridge.
Qualifications
- A natural problem solver and must enjoy operating in an ever changing landscape
- Degree educated from a leading 200 world prominent university possessing a 2.1 or better in engineering, physics, mathematics, computing, natural sciences or something similar but we are flexible on the subject studied
Experience
- Experience within a DevOps or Site Reliability type environment within a software company, investigating and fixing technical problems
- Good overall understanding of operating systems, IT Infrastructure, alerting and monitoring software applications, automation, open source, AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- First class communication skills and able to keep calm during busy periods
- Must be happy to relocate to the Cambridge area if you do not live within the vicinity - please consider this before applying
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opening where you will combine problem solving with incident issues, providing IT security services, automating tasks and working with engineers.
