Our client is an Australia-based software company that creates products for businesses and software developers, helping teams organize, discuss, and complete shared work. The company is focused on running a shared lab environment and they need to automatically collect, normalize, and harmonize data from multiple sources and equipment and then ingest that into their platform system. As each family of devices has their own data format and methods of accessing and collecting the data - they need a set of connectors (integrations) that would be able to get all necessary data points using native device APIs and formats and transform that data into the standard form that is understood by their main system.
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- Externalized component of the larger system (a standalone script), which will manage the file transformation to the mostly open-source target format
- Integrating the file adapters into a larger product, processing transformation in real-time, whenever a new file appears in a folder
YOU ARE
- An experienced, proactive, responsible Python Engineer who can drive a new project
- Experienced in data transformation (ETL - Extract, Transform, Load)
- Skilled with clouds, specifically AWS
- Used to Agile/Scrum Methodology
- Strong level of English, needed for general communication
