Why We Need You

We’re looking for enthusiastic software development engineer who is strong in Python, Linux, microservices and cloud technologies. You’ll be a part of a dynamic product development team who care about doing the right things for the customers and the organization.

This role is located in our South Jordan, UT office.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop functional or object-oriented software with intelligent, automated tests.
  • Convert customer problems into software solutions.
  • Contribute product design, system analysis, debug tasks, root cause analysis, and support for assigned products.
  • Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems.
  • Regularly provide accurate estimate effort to complete assigned work.
  • Ability to communicate and get task done in the work from anywhere environment.
  • Collaborate with team and cross teams.

To Be Successful in the Role, You Will Have:

  • 4+ years in software development with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on networking and microservices.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., Postgres, etc.)
  • Working experience on Linux platform
  • Proficiency in multi thread application development with good debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Deliver quality code via unit and integration testing through a suite of automated tests.
  • Quick learner and obsessed with new technology.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Experience with any cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
  • Development experience with C++ with good understanding of object-oriented design concepts.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, TLS, socket programming and related technologies.
  • Working experience with REST API’s, Kafka, Redis
  • Knowledge on security best practices
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or React) is added on advantage.
  • Knowledge and tolerance of agile software concepts
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking work items, bugs, and test cases.
