Senior Software Engineer - Python and C++

📍 Cambridge, UK - Hybrid

💰 Up to £65 000 - Based on relevant experience

This exciting company in the Semiconductor and IoT security industry are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Python, and some experience in C++ to make an immediate impact and work on the development of new Desktop Software Tools and Systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Working in a cross disciplined team to understand customer requirements and develop new Desktop Software Tools in Python, and some legacy code base in C++
• Develop and implement unit test cases to ensure meet product specifications, with both pYtest and performing manual testing
• Debugging and documentation

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development, with several years using C++
• Testing experience in Python using pyTest
• Experience with Typescript and/or Angular

Bonus

As a bonus, you may have:

• Some background or knowledge of Embedded Development
• Knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as TCP/IP
