Being a Senior Software Engineer at iManage

You are a passionate engineer ready to jump into one of iManage’s most exciting teams. You will have an opportunity to build new capabilities within our Threat Manager product, helping our users keep their data safe as well as mentoring other developers through best practices in an Agile environment.

You will play a critical role in the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment in an agile environment. iM Responsible For

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining new features to further improve our products
  • Participating in software best practices like code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, etc
  • Architecting complex solutions and writing performance critical code
  • Contributing to large scale architectural decisions
  • Working as an individual contribution and confident in taking ownership of tasks
  • Ensuring secure coding standards and best practices
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability

iM Qualified Because I have

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or STEM equivalent
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable software
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python
  • Experience with Flask or a similar framework (e.g. Django, Rails, Express, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux, Docker or MongoDB is a plus
  • Willingness and passion to learn new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to be a leader, a coach, and to mentor other developers
