Are you a seasoned Python Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial institution? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team at Rabobank. As part of the Global Data Platform (GDP) team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven solutions within our organization.
Role Details
In this role, you will be part of the Data Accelerator Framework team, working on the development of web applications with Python on our Azure Cloud Platform. You will be instrumental in creating solutions that are usable, resilient, scalable, and secure, always putting the customer first.

Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar function
- At least 1 year of experience in a data-driven environment
- Proven experience in/able to: Software engineering, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, Architectural design and convincing stakeholders, Mentor/coach other team members, Debug/Refactor code of others, Apply Object Oriented Programming principles
- Good command of English (business level)
Nice to have:
- Experience in the financial sector, data engineering and data modelling
- Experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer
- Experience in Apache Airflow
- Experience with Azure services like: Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Container Registry, Azure Databricks, Azure Power Apps
- Experience working with Pandas and Parquet

Who We Are
The Global Data Platform is one of the areas within Rabobank’s Tribe Data & Analytics (D&A). Our area comprises of 18 DevOps teams that offer products & services for building and operating data pipelines and data governance to provide and consume reliable data.
Terms of Employment for a Python Engineer (based on a 36-hour working week)
- Based on your experience: up to € 90.000 gross per year (scale 9)
- A desk, monitor and chair for your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40
- A personal development budget of € 1,400
- A combination of working from home and at the office
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
- 172.8 hours holiday per year including 1 Diversity Day per year
