Our client, a series B venture-backed startup from the USA with a team in the UK, specializes in developing advanced platforms that streamline complex tasks automation with speed, flexibility, and cost-efficiency. In partnership with our agency, they are looking to hire a Senior Engineer (Full Stack) for their team, focusing on developing crucial drivers for their clientele.

Job Opportunity

• Location: Remote or hybrid in London
• Rate: £500 per day
• Contract: Outside IR35
• Duration: 3 to 6 months

Role Details

As demand for their innovative platform grows, they are expanding their engineering team to accommodate this growth. They need skilled engineers to interpret customer requirements and guide projects toward innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of instrument drivers for clients.
• Take full ownership of projects, ensuring their successful execution.
• Break down large-scale initiatives into manageable tasks and delegate efficiently.
• Address complex challenges directly.
• Provide reliable problem-solving, proactively identifying and offering solutions to critical issues.
• Suggest alternative approaches to challenges based on available insights.
• Design and develop software systems as required by product functionalities.
• Support software users in troubleshooting issues.
• Develop test scenarios and conduct testing of integrated systems that include software.
• Review peer code to ensure adherence to software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in driver development.
• Familiarity with integrated or embedded systems is ideal.
• A collaborative approach to software development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical skills in Python, Protobuf, REST APIs, gRPC, TCP/IP, serial interface are preferred.
