The ideal candidate will work closely with the business to build highly efficient, complex business applications. The ideal candidate will possess:

Essential:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience delivering technology solutions/applications, ideally in a financial environment.
• Excellent understanding of Python, and experience delivering applications with these technologies.
• Experience of Pandas is a must.
• Ability to code in an object-oriented manner.
• Experience of unit and end-to-end testing.
• Experience using version control (git).
• Eager to use and learn different technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL– Stored Procedures & Database Architecture.
• Web experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to face off with business users to gather requirements, set expectations & maintain relationships.

Other:

• Knowledge of Financial Instruments is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work on multitasking.
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, analytical concepts to a range of client and internal audiences.
• Strong attention to detail; action-oriented attitude; and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Knowledge of any other scripting languages like Perl is desirable.
• Team player with collaborative and strong interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills, self-starter, and ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• A graduate degree is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is a prerequisite.
