NearTech Search is collaborating with a small and dynamic challenger bank focused on high-net worth individuals. They are dedicated to innovation and excellence, aiming to transform banking experiences within the private wealth sector. The team comprises over 22 developers, engineers, project managers, and support staff, all striving to provide cutting-edge solutions for their clients.

Position Overview

The CIO seeks a Python Developer to join the team during a period of sustained growth. The ideal candidate will lead in designing and developing software solutions and mentoring mid-level Python / Django team members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking fintech organization.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Python development, particularly frameworks like Django / Flask.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs for system and service integration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
  • Expertise in database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
  • Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of RabbitMQ is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy tailored software solutions for high-net worth individuals.
  • Utilize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems and services.
  • Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) to build scalable solutions.
  • Design and implement efficient database solutions for data storage and retrieval.
  • Containerize applications using Docker / Kubernetes for deployment and management.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards.
