They are looking for a result-driven Senior Software Engineer with demonstrable experience working with Python to join their existing agile development team tasked with creating innovative cyber solutions and updating current systems.

Our client is offering a flexible salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience. In addition, our client is also offering hybrid working opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and code software using Python, C++, JavaScript, and associated tools
- Develop documentation and training material conforming to relevant Company standards and procedures
- Undertake functional testing and validation of developed code, documentation, and training materials
- Investigate customer product use scenarios, reproducing issues and resolving these
- Contribute to project planning, identifying and advising on technical tasks to be undertaken and the resources required for the project
- Understand customer requirements and translate into technical requirements
- Produce designs and specifications to meet customer requirements
- Identify and participate in research activities to assist in advancing department ways of working
- Support Junior and Mid-Level Engineers with workload if required
- Provide third line post-sales support
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in Python programming/scripting essential
- Experience in a software solution environment, any experience or interest within Cyber Security would also be beneficial
- Hands-on experience with C++ and Linux
- Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Any knowledge of agile working methodologies beneficial
Additional Requirements
As this role will involve handling sensitive information, all applicants must be eligible to gain SC level clearance, including being a UK resident for the past 3 years.
