Senior Python Developer - Global Hedge Fund

Job Opportunity

My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their London team. You will be a self-starter, expected to lead on projects, and ideally come from a finance background. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of in-house and third-party systems used to support and manage their trading business. You will be joining a small, diverse, and dynamic team with a start-up mindset and will have continuous exposure to and interaction with Trading, Risk, and Research teams. My client is committed to sizable increases on any base salary alongside market-leading bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of technical products and projects focusing on increasing automation.
• Continuous exposure and daily interaction with the Portfolio Management / Trading Team.
• Supporting the integration of various tasks across the business, such as the development of in-house and third-party systems.
• Maintaining close contact with a wide variety of teams, including Risk, Research, and trading.
• Taking a hands-on approach, embracing the opportunity to be creative when solving problems and developing products.
