Senior Python DevOps Developer

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a prestigious private bank in Zurich, we are currently seeking a Senior Python Engineer with solid experience in DevOps. The client is looking for a long-term engagement (at least until April 2026) as this is not a project-based role. As Senior Engineer you will mentor junior developers and will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Development and enhancements on the current data store / data warehouse.
• Providing data transformations for our clients and perform analytics on the gathered data e.g. with Tableau.
• Preparing ideas and implementations for data governance.

Skills Required

• Multiple years of experience in Python
• Data Engineering background
• Experience with data stores / data warehouses (data integration, ETL processes)
• DevOps experience - building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Git, Bitbucket, GitLab
• Fluency in English, German a plus
