What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python-based solutions, addressing emerging mission challenges using best practices and frameworks.
- Research and understand new technologies for quick problem identification and resolution in mission-critical solutions.
- Document experiment results, prototype software, and ensure compliance with technical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in problem-solving and solution-finding.
- Apply Agile methodologies in software development.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Strong software development skills with Python, Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns.
- Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) that includes Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance with the Agile Methodology.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge and experience developing in Java and related technologies is a big plus.
- Good understanding of software project management tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes to deploy, scale, load balance and manage containers.
