Position Title: Senior Python Developer

Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C)

Rate: $72/hr on W2

Location: Summerland Key, FL (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python scripts and applications to hold vendors accountable and streamline project management processes.
• Manipulate Microsoft Project files programmatically to ensure accurate representation of project progress and timelines.
• Utilize various SQL databases to manage and analyze project data effectively.
• Work with MS/XML files, handling large datasets with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance existing tools and develop new features.
• Maintain and optimize codebase for performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with different types of SQL databases.
• Familiarity with working with MS files, particularly Microsoft Project files.
• Knowledge of Polars (optional), a hyper-fast DataFrame library for manipulating structured data.
• Familiarity with Aspose (optional), a tool for working with MS Office files.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mid to senior-level experience in Python development.
• Experience working with web technologies and databases.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
