Job Description

Generative AI Platform Engineer - Polyglot/Python sought by leading investment bank based in the city of London.

Inside IR35 - 2/3 days a week onsite

Be part of the team building a green-field development at scale.
Work on large scale engineering challenges on-premise and on the cloud.
Utilize cutting edge technologies like LLMs to address user use-cases across the bank.

Design and build high-quality, highly reliable software.
Partner closely with other development teams, quants, and subject-matter experts.
Ensure software platforms are compliant with the bank's security and SDLC processes.
Run the platform at scale, innovate, and evolve continually.

Skills and Qualifications

Experienced in AI/ML and more particularly LLMs.
Strong knowledge and deep experience of Python.
Strong distributed systems and system architecture skills.
Experience in building and running large platforms at scale.
Knowledge and experience of at least one structured programming language such as Java, C#, Rust, Clojure, Haskell, etc.
Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, and REST-ful design.
Development experience of at least one public cloud provider.
