About Shift

Shift is a general-purpose browser focused on enhancing the browsing experience. The Shift team works closely with Redbrick’s shared teams and aims to redefine how users interact with their browsers.

Career Opportunities at Shift

Shift is looking to hire Senior Full Stack Developers with a focus on backend technologies like Python/Lua. The role involves architecting new features, mentoring other developers, analyzing data, and more.

Development Progress Expectations

  • After 1 week: Understanding of the software and completion of small tasks
  • After 1 month: Breaking down large tasks, coordinating with design teams, and debugging errors
  • After 6 months: Leading new feature development and product creation, handling updates, and tracking changes

Qualifications for the Role

  • 5+ years of web development experience
  • Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks
  • Knowledge of AWS, database design, and DevOps tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Additional experience with desktop app development, performance marketing, and data tracking systems is a plus
