Job Opportunity: Remote Python Full-Stack Developer
Pearson Carter are working with an Agri-Tech startup company whose aim is to bring precision to the global fruit farming industry. They develop technology that provides efficient crop tracking and forecasting which reduces yield waste, cuts CO2 emissions, and helps growers increase their produce by providing them with this advance technology. They are seeking a remote Python Full-Stack Developer to help build their platform whilst developing new features for their core API an user-facing web app.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features on the web app including spatial mapping tools and data visualisation.
- Assist in development of cloud-based data handling, storage and processing systems.
- Work closely with the machine learning and operations teams.
- Work collaboratively in a small team.
Experience
At least 2 years industry experience in software development roles.
Experience with web app development especially React and Django.
Strong programming skills, ideally in JavaScript and Python.
Not required, but it would be beneficial if you have experience with AWS, Postgres, Docker and experience working with geospatial data via tools like Rasterio and Mapbox.

Location
The position at this company is a remote opportunity however you may be required to attend the Cambridge office twice a month, for project planning purposes.
