Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Python 3x, including automation tools, data structures, classes, and code repositories for enterprise projects.
  • Experience with Microservices and Rest API development.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python 3x, including Multi-Threading, Multi-Processing, and GIS.
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a unified system.
  • Proficiency in Django framework; knowledge of Flask is a plus.
  • Experience integrating user-facing elements and optimizing backend components.
  • Solid database skills, particularly in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of building and utilizing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Deployment experience of Python applications in production environments.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Unit Testing.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
  • Ensure optimal performance and quality of high-scale data applications and services.
  • Independently handle development and unit testing of applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate components into the enterprise data platform.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects throughout the software development cycle.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring system stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology developments and implement them when applicable.
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold standards and best practices.

Good to Have:

  • Extensive experience with AWS services such as Cloud Formation, S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.
  • Knowledge of ingesting data from Rest APIs to AWS data lake (S3) and relational databases.
  • Understanding of data solutions on AWS, including data analysis using SQL stored procedures.
  • Experience in building automated data pipelines for ingesting data into AWS databases.
